New Grooming Snowmobile for 08/09!
The Chassell Recreation Club has purchased a 2009 Polaris Widetrak IQ. The new machine is a four stroke that has significantly more torque than the 2007 Polaris Widetrak LX for easier pulling and is a great addition to the arsenal of grooming equipment for the Chassell Classic Ski Trail. A big thanks goes out to all of the skiers that have bought passes and/or given donations as well as participated in the Copper Island Classic Ski Race held every January. The money goes toward the purchase of new snowmobiles, equipment, gas, maintenance, and trail renovations. Another big thanks goes out to Dan's Polaris of Atlantic Mine for all of their support and great work on the snowmobiles.
