High School/Middle School Race Team

Each year, the Middle School and High School race teams travel to races in Marquette, Minocqua (WI), Giants Ridge (MN), Cable (WI) and elsewhere. Organizers typically divide youth racers into age groups for the competition. Many used a standarized system developed by the U.S. Ski Association. For this ski season (2007-08), they are:

J4: 10-11 years old (born in 1998 or 1999)
J3: 12-13 years old (born in 1996 or 1997)
J2: 14-15 years old (born in 1994 or 1995)
J1: 16-17 years old (born in 1992 or 1993)
J0: 18-19 years old (born in 1990 or 1991)
