Come join us for an exciting weekend on the beautiful and rugged trails of the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Events include – Mt. Baldy Summit Run, 10K Copper Harbor Trails Challenge, 10K Copper Harbor Trails Non-Competitive Run/Hike, 2K Junior Trail Run and 25K Carl Olson Memorial Adventure run.

RTK Weekend Conquer the weekend by running the Mt. Baldy Summit, the 10K Copper Harbor TrailsChallenge and the 25K Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run! Awards to top five (5) overall Male and Female.

Special awards to top 5 overall Male and Female finishers, top U23 male and female finishers, Middle of the Pack male and remale and Finnish Sisu award. Tons of door prizes throughout the weekend.

Event Details

kid runningMt. Baldy Summit Run (~6k) – Starting just up the road from Eagle Harbor, participants will climb up to the spectacular summit of Mt. Baldy (also known as Mt. Lookout).

10K Copper Harbor Trails Challenge – Starting and finishing at the Grant Township Park in Copper Harbor, the 10K will bring you to the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge and back via the world class Copper Harbor Trail System. See the course map.

10K Copper Harbor Trails Challenge – Not all about the racing? You can still participate and support the trails by registering to run or hike the 10 K route. See the course map.

2K Junior Trail Run - For kids 14 & under, the course will traverse the trails nearest the Copper Harbor Township Park.

25K Carl Olson Memorial Adventure Run – You haven’t experienced all the Copper Harbor Trail System as of yet, the 25K course will take you to all the highlights with challenging elevation and scenic terrain. See the course map.







Run the Keweenaw is organized through the Keweenaw Trails Alliance in coordination with the Copper Copper Country Ski Tigers.Proceeds from the event will continue support the middle school and high school Nordic ski team, the Copper Country Ski Tigers, as well as non-motorized trail improvements, acquisition and maintenance in the Keweenaw.
