Michigan Tech is located in Houghton, Michigan, in the scenic Upper Peninsula. Main north-south routes include US-41, US-141 and US-45. M-26 is the main east-west route.

The area receives more than 200 inches of snow each year. With the expanded trails and new grooming equipment, you will find a top-notch race.

The Tech trails are on Sharon Avenue, just across from the Sherman Field football stadium and the Student Development Complex athletic facility. From US-41, turn south on MacInnes Drive at the stop light on the main Michigan Tech campus. Follow MacInnes as it winds around the Student Development Complex and turns into Sharon Avenue. The trails are on your left--watch for the signs.
