The Course

All events are set on the scenic Chassell Cross Country Ski Trails. The trails wind through mixed forest and open fields providing ample overtaking opportunities. The European design provides varying terrain in a beautiful Nordic setting with no road crossings. The tread consists of dirt and field grass with areas of exposed roots and rocks.

Location

The Chassell Ski Trails are located in Chassell, Michigan, seven miles south of Houghton on US-41. The trailhead is at the old Chassell school, now the Chassell Heritage Center, a block west of US-41 on Second Street. (Click here or the map for a local map.)

Proceeds

All proceeds from the Carl Olson Memorial Adventure run go to the Copper Country Ski Tigers middle school and high school racing program to help offset expenses for equipment and travel.
