The Junior Bear Chase--Youth Nordic ski race--up to 16-years-old.
Note the changes this year: The Junior Bear Chase will take place at 3 p.m. at the Michigan Tech Trails. There will be only one race this year, as opposed to some age groups participating in a classic and freestyle race.
When: Saturday March 11, 2006, 3:00 p.m.
Registration/Bib pick-up: 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the Michigan Tech trailhead. There is a mail-in form on this web site. (This is a Word file.)
Age classes: There are gender classes within each age class, with separate awards for boys and girls. The age classes are: 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-16.
Course: Race length varies (see below).

Awards: All finishers receive a participation award. Awards will be presented for first, second and third place in each age/gender division in each race, as well as awards for the combined races.
Fees: $5 in advance. $7 day of race.

Do not use the Great Bear Chase form for Junior Bear Chase.
