Clubs and Organizations

Copper Country Ski Tigers — Organzation teaching and promoting youth cross country skiing. Ski Tigers meets Saturdays from January through March at Swedetown and Michigan Tech.

Copper Island Cross Country Ski Club — Maintains the Swedetown trail system.

Copper Harbor Trails Club — Building and maintaining mountain bike and Nordic ski trails at the tip of the Keweenaw.

Keweenaw Nordic Ski Club — Grooms and maintains the Maasto Hiihto and Churning Rapids trails for cross country skiing.

Keweenaw Trekkers — Mountain bike enthusiasts that gather Monday evenings (6 pm) in the summer to ride. See the Trekkers web site for weekly locations.
